Saint Joseph Parish is a faith community established in 1891 to serve the spiritual and temporal needs of Catholic Christian believers in the New Kensington area. As a Catholic Christian community, our parish is dedicated to the worship of God and celebration of the sacraments. We are committed to knowing Christ and the power of the Resurrection. With this understanding, we seek to serve our brothers and sisters in this church, in the community, and throughout the world in bringing about the Kingdom of God.

In anticipation of the April 27 canonization of two beloved 20th century Popes, Bl. John XXIII and Bl. John Paul II, a series of events is being planned as way to reflect on the lives of these saints as well as celebrate our local and ethnic connections to them! You’re invited to join in celebrating together with our Arnold-New Kensington and Lower Burrell Catholic Communities. Please mark your calendars for a series of Afternoons of Encounter:
Bl. John Paul II: Sunday, February 23, 2 p.m. at St. Mary of Czestochowa
Both saints & their impact on the Church: Sunday, March 16, 2 p.m., St. Joseph
Watch the Canonization together: Sunday, April 27th, 2 p.m., St. Margaret Mary
